I hate to play the what if game, but...

You cant be serious..what dropping in his 1 for 8 3's....he's in the best place he could be, on the bench. if he returns and get more than 5 mins i will question Fran's coaching abilities and quit watching this team..he needs to transfer to DIII where its slow enough for him to get his shot off.

Let's play the what if game. What if Josh "the assassin" Oglesby was hurt all year last year. Where does Iowa end up?

Oglesby was in a slump last year and will be a materially better shooter than that clown from Villanova.

If we shot an average pace of FG and FT with a 10-15 point lead, we win the game.
If Marble shoots 2-2 from the FT on his last attempts in regulation, we win the game.

The refereeing was bad, but it wasn't the reason we lost.
We defended the 3, as if Tom Davis was still coaching.

Ogelsbad has been in a slump since he landed on campus, and is too slow to get open for his long drawn out shooting motion. i feel bad for him, but he shouldn't ever see the floor..i will bet you any amount of money regarding your comment of Josh vs the Nova kid.

Ogelsby shot 37% as a freshman. Call it a slump if you wish.

He avg 6 pts a game..call it a game changer if you wish....on top of that, if you take away two games, he's well under 30%...he's not good, period...especially when that that only asset you have...but im sure you would rather take minutes away from utoff, white, marble or who? for his what?

If he had played we'd lost by 15 because of the several lost possessions where he chucked up bricks. Normally I wouldn't respond to a trolling post like this but apparently Jon wants you here so I'll play along.

He should go off at about 56-58% this year. It's called the Law of Large Numbers. Exact same reason why two even teams could play and have Iowa take off so hot, 'nova start cold, then it reversed and was an even game.

Yep. I see Josh as a 40%+ career shooter and so he is gonna have some monster games to get him back to the percentage he should be shooting.

What if we had Josh O in there tonight dropping bombs like Arcidiono did? I think we win by 15.

His perimeter defense would have been welcome down the stretch. We had guys guarding on the perimeter that just aren't used to doing it.

you guys are out of your minds....he's been terrible from the 3 since the get go. The facts are the facts, he is slow, thus struggles getting open, and has a long stroke, thus has to rush his shot to get it off = bad 3pt percentage. im sure he's the purest shooter in the gym when standing around playing a game of horse, but this isn't playing a pick up game at the local court..these guys are athletic and you have to be able to get open and have a quick release and/or jump to have success....JO needs to transfer so he can play with slower caliber players and hit 10 3's a game...but it will never happen in the BIG.
