I guess neither do 6 other coaches or 8 if you include Maryland and Rutgers. It's getting old that fans criticize every little thing.

I agree, IF81, but I stopped reading ESPN.go.com along time ago. Adam and now Brian only go with what is widely published on Iowa. They can't follow each team that close. 99% of the stuff they write about, Jon has it up a few weeks before they do.
Where have I criticized Kirk Ferentz in "every little thing," or big things, for that matter? Please provide links.
Adam and Brian write about the conference and draw from many sources: newspapers, newspaper Web sites, TV and radio stations, the university athletic departments, coaches' calls, their own sources. They write about the B1G and its individual member institutions from the outside looking in, although occasionally they break news from the information they've gleaned on their own. Jon and people like him around the conference usually, but not always, write from their local institution's standpoint looking out. Apples and oranges. Legends and Leaders.
I'm fairly certain that blog item came from the various published accounts from national signing day. The fact that nothing was posted about Ferentz, or the "6 other coaches or 8" that were not included in the blog, probably means Kirk and those coaches didn't have any modestly interesting stories to tell during their NSD news conferences about bumpy flights, funny in-home visits or high school coaches pwning them on expected recruits. Nothing wrong about that.

It is observed there is some sensitivity by people on this board. The link is to funny stories from the recruiting trail as relayed by the coaches who were quoted. Is the title says, apparently Kirk didn't have any good recruiting stories. Otherwise he would have shared them with the media at signing day.
