.... it looks like there is plenty of potential for there to be a pretty wild finish in recruiting at the end here. Absolutely crazy ... I have no IDEA what to predict!
I predict Jedeveon Clowney will NOT play north of the Mason-Dixon line.
And what do you think about Travis Perry? Is he just a fall back guy or someone they are trying to convince to walk on? It seems to me that he would be a sure commit but just waiting for an offer.

Agreed, I was looking through past recruiting top 150s and seeing top 25 guys and wondering what happened to them? Some of these top 150 players go to the top schools but just get burried on the depth chart. Like Mitch Mustain(dont know his reason for transferring) had it made at Arkansas decides to transfer and he started 1 game in his final 2 or 3 years. It definitly helps out middle tier schools such as Iowa that they are waiting to decide so long, like phreek said they are willing to hear what Iowa has to offer/say.My thought is that the kids are taking longer in the process of recruiting. Instead of just jumping to the biggest school. I think this helps schools like Iowa gives them a chance to sell the great things. Just not smoke, mirrors, and bright lights. Agree ?

Something happen recently to make u say this? I hear Cooper is down to Iowa, MSU, and GT. is it that he doesn't have PSU there?
Not just concerning Cooper.
It's just that Iowa has a lot to offer ... we have a bunch of 'ships "banked" (quite unlike how the SEC does business) ... and there is A LOT of uncertainty out there at a bunch of schools whom we've recruited against.
On top of all that ... I'm truly struck by some of the recent rumors suggesting that it doesn't sound like we're looking much at the CB spot anymore. Given that we're clearly in need of a few remaining DB recruits ... it's crazy to think that the coaches either ALREADY have silent verbals OR that they have a great shot at a bunch of their top candidates.
Check out this article to see what went down with the Penn State offer. Apparently the Nittany Lions got another DT commit and pulled Cooper's offer.
A change of plans for Cooper
