But Iowa beat Northwestern and their a-hole coach and Nebraska got beat by Minnesota. Today is a good day. :)
 
This is correct. And the Nebby loss today is one of the things the Figting Herkys needed to stay alive in the division.
 
Always a good Saturday when the Hawks win..... and a flipping fantastic Saturday when the Hawks win and nebraska loses
 
+1 to all. On the bus ride home maybe they can pull into Independence and Fitz can talk to the boys at MHI about his monkey.

Living in Omaha..... I'm currently on suicide watch and loving every minute of it. I listened to their post game radio show and people are jumping off bridges. I heard two MEN crying openly on the call line.
 
I wonder if NE fans stayed after the game to clap for Minnesota when they left the field? (stupid tradition). NE fans always talk about being the greatest fans in the world. That was only because they won a lot. There was an article in the local paper about NE football becoming boring and fans losing interest. That's only because they are losing more. Welcome to the real world.

Truly...I literally can't express the satisfaction I am getting because the hipocracy I have known for years is showing itself in fuskernation. Now hopefully their BS sellout streak ends next.

Again, we are NOT Iowa State. We do NOT base our entire season around only 1 game. I would be hulk smash angry if the team only went 1-11.
 
I love beating NW. (Well, I love beating Pat Fitzgerald. I actually don't care that much about NW.) Any way, by any score. Blowouts are fantastic and I love 'em when they happen. But there is something oh so satisfying about a "You think you have a chance and then we rip your heart out and take it away" kind of win. ESPECIALLY against NW.
