I am starting to believe we are truley cursed at the RB postion

I don't buy into superstition but its hard not to wonder why Iowa has had issues at the RB position. Ugh. Just got home 15 mins ago. What do I do, I go to HN.com Front page says Rick K is gone. Smack my head literally, okay. Then my heart literally sank. You know that horrible feeling you get when something bad has happened, like a family member getting hurt or something? Coker. Why? Not even 6 hours ago I was listening to Matt Millen on ESPN College Football Live talking about how Oklahoma would need to stop Coker. WHY??
IOWA is truly cursed at the running back position.
 
If it's not a "curse", superstition, which does not exist, there is only one other cause: the program. We are either recruiting the wrong kids (unlikely), we are exercising insufficient oversight, or through over-control indirectly causing the kids to act out. Not sure which one is correct but it's not a curse.

You're saying that he broke the code of conduct because of either insufficient oversight or over control? Wait, what?

You're quite mad..you know that, correct?
 
The Cubs are cursed.

The Iowa basketball team is cursed.

The football program at the UI is simply badly run at this point, but are definitely NOT cursed.

You're right, the unprecedented disciplinary and attrition problems we have had with our KIDS over the last 7 years has nothing to do with the adults overseeing them. It's a curse. My bad.
 
Let me help you out here.... If we're "cursed" at a position....it's Head Coach.

When a team....(company, organization, movement...etc etc) repeats the same pattern over and over.....and over.....and...did I say "over"?.... it starts at the top.

As do most of the problems with this team/program/season.... K....F....Z...
