I am becoming really freaking sick of the NCAA

Joke isn't the right word....not sure what word is, but I'm guessing some pictures would suffice.

What a joke! How can they even operate w a straight face. You have a team playing for the National Championship with an player who is admitdlly guilty of violations yet you have a couple of kids who are trying to get some extra cash and they are suspended for 5 games! WTF?

The REAL joke is that those players are eligible for their bowl game. It's all about the money, folks. Even for "non-profit" organizations like the NCAA. Sitting Pryor, Herron, and Posey against Arkansas would KILL the ratings. Sitting Newton would have led to TCU playing for it all (no way does Auburn beat 'Bama without Newton), and it's just bad for business to let schools like that get into the action (I mean, what if they WON? Playoff?).

If your reasoning for letting them play in the Sugar Bowl is that they didn't receive proper rules education at the time of the infractions (which is a BS reason in any situation), then why suspend them for half of the next season (other than the obvious reason)? I'm fine with making them pay back the money. But don't suspend them next year if you're not going to suspend them NOW.
