Unlike 2002 and 2004, Iowa controls its destiny. Win 3 of the next 4, and we are playing for an undisputed Big Ten title in Indy. The next 4 are the biggest stretch of games since Ferentz has been coach at Iowa.
the mass Hawk base seems worried
I ain't why - called defense and solid OL
Hawks will run the table and I expect a 13-17 pt win this weekend with Iowa wearing out Indiana for 250+ rushing yards
Relax - the line is low and the books know what they are doing ... the public is buying into Iowa not having played anyone, etc
The opening O/U I'm seeing is around 60, which suggests the books expect something like 34-27. I don't like Iowa's chances if this turns into a shootout, particularly given the trouble Iowa had running the ball in the second half against Maryland.

We need Hawknick right now. We need him to tell us all of the positives that we have going for us and why we have no chance in hell of losing to this lowly door mat. Would he predict a 56-0 blowout?
I worry about every game. One loss everyone says they were right and were overrated.

maybe this has already been said in this thread - but the reason iowa had trouble is because maryland sold out on the run - and iowa didn't care because of the lead. ferentz said if not for the lead, they would have tried to exploit the man coverage that having 8 in the tackle box created. but they didn't have to.
Yep. Waiting for the hammer to drop.I worry about every game. One loss everyone says they were right and were overrated.
