Last year's HS championship games had future hawkeyes Derby and Morris as well as interesting players like Creekmur. Which players will be the ones to watch this year?

Dowling...Amara Darboh.

I hear great things about the Bosen (sp?) kid from Dowling also, but don't see him in any database.

Ben Boesen is certainly a great high school athlete for a great Dowling team. I don't know anything about his other measurables and have never seen him play. However I did see him up close in person at a college football game this fall, and he's very lean and doesn't appear to have the frame typical of a D1 TE or LB/DE. Not a knock on his football abilities, just saying that he doesn't pass the eyeball test, and this may explain his lack of offers.

Iowa City could have two champs...City and Regina. Pretty cool considering I live about 3/4 mile from each school.

Sioux City's East and Heelen high schools have some interesting prospects, but no sure things as far as I can see. There definitely are a couple of "developmental prospects" that Kirk and Co seem to like to invest in, we'll see. I can't speak for any other areas of Iowa.
