Shoot at least 3 or so TV commercials, which could also be put on the radio.
First Commercial: With the Iowa fight song blaring in the background, bring in BJ Armstrong, Roy Marble, Ed Horton, Brad Lohaus and Kevin Gamble, (or some mix from that era) with Coach McCaffrey in the middle of them. Have them say something like "We're on board!" or "We're in!" or "Sign us up!" Then have them chug a glass of black or gold colored Kool-Ade.
Second Commercial: The same or similar with Bobby Hansen, Ronnie Lester, Mark Gannon, Kevin Boyle and Steve Krafcisin (or some mix from that era).
Third Commercial: Same with Jess Settles, Ryan Bowen, Andre Woolridge, Kent McCausland and Russ Millard (or some mix from that era).
Certainly could add teams from older generations, but the 50-60-70 somethings are already there. Its the 20-30-40 somethings that they need to bring back.
It would stir the emotions of Hawk fans who were red-hot passionate Hawk fans back in the day, but have had their passion cooled off in recent years and it would send the message that this new coaching staff, as well as the AD's office, finally gets it and that they are going to finally give Hawks fans what they want.
