Howe article on Coe

Anything can happen. It sounds like we are playing it by ear and he doesn't have an offer yet, otherwise he would have committed already.

From what I have read the only thing Iowa is waiting on is making sure he makes grades. Otherwise it's just a waiting game.

Sounds good. Keep up the good work young man. Embrace the change and treat it like a challege. Do that and keep the grades up and you will do fine.

He would be an excellent addition and being a junior should be able to contribute right away. He would definitely be a bridge gapper between the upperclassmen like Bigach and Alvis and the underclassmen in Cooper, Davis, Johnson, Ekakitie, and others.

286 lbs? Is this a good thing or not? Does he need to put down the donuts or what?

It's quite possible that when he committed to DLine he committed to a firm weight program (And probably slashed whatever diet might have been in place for him as a RB).

Either way.. as long as he is all in on DLine and his own development.. I'll trust the people in charge of guiding him..

The Strohmeier boys seem to know what they're doing. No worries.
