How will our CB's do against Zona's "Air Raid"?

I'm kinda of worried about the inexperience we have at Corner *cough*cough* Micah Hyde*cough I know he's young but it seems like he is blowing coverage a lot . I know they have big WR's and while Prater has proven to be a good corner he's not the biggest guy at only 5'10 so there could possibly be a size advantage for AZ. I think the defense relies on good play from our young linebacker core who will be matched up with receivers and tight ends a lot and good downfield coverage from Sash and Greenwood. I also believe the offense will have a good day but we need to stay away from silly penalties like offsides and holding which can be tough for a young offensive line making their 1st road game of the season. If we can out up 24 points I believe we will win. I have Iowa winning 28-17. GO HAWKS!!!!

The Hawks have taken their foot off the gas around halftime of the first 2 games...can't afford to do that here as Zona has the weapons to erase a lead if there's a let down in intensity...Iowa keeps the pedal down for 3+ quarters, just to make sure and wins 28-10.

I agree. I dont think that we should have too big of a problem with them and I believe the temp at gametime is around 85 degrees so Im hoping we wont be too affected byt the climate. Kirk Ferentz does a good job of making sure road games are BUISNESS TRIPS and not vacations. Im confident we can win by atleast 10 points or more

Temps will drop fast once the sun goes down...Hawks should be fine if they don't expend too much hydration during warm-ups.

They will pick on Micah but our coaches are good and sure they have been working on that. I gonna go out on a limb I think we get two interceptions and one of those goes to Micah.

Prater has slipped up on two plays all year, and they were back-to-back in his first start. He's not had any problems since. I'm glad that nobody labeled Amari as a liability for getting burned against Penn State. Hyde is a good young player, and he's going to play well tonight.

UA's WR's aren't big. They have Criner at 6'4" and ~210, which is comparable yet smaller than McNutt. Their other WR's are small, quicker types that IA should be ok against.

The more I've read about this game the better I feel. You never know how things will play out, but I think IA dominates both sides of the LoS and this game may be close until IA adjusts to UA's WR speed (more b/c our DB's and LB's haven't faced a team this quick yet), but I still think IA wins.
