How many were upset/disappointed in ND's reaction and ...

subsequent explanation of the student's death? I'm guessing quite a few were wanting and expecting more from ND, including a head or two on a platter. I count me in that group that thought ND's public reaction seemed hollow and insincere.

Right now I feel a measure of disappointment in OUR/Iowa's response in the 12 players being hospitalized. I will certainly wait to learn more before condemning anybody on this. I find it odd that a workout that had allegedly been done for years just now hospitalizes 1/6 or so of the entire team. Wierd. This would suggest that either it's NOT the same workout or it's more strenuous than before. Something is different. To suggest otherwise is trivializing 22 athletes being admitted to the hospital.

Right now I'm just thankful there were no deaths and hope all is right with the 12 in the hospital.

I find it odd that a workout that had allegedly been done for years just now hospitalizes 1/4 to 1/5 of the entire team. Wierd. First of all, it's 12 players, not 22.

And the fact that this has never happened before can just as easily suggest that something was different with the players. Improper supplement use poor hydration prior to the workout could easily explain what happened as well.

I believe it was Bernstine or DiBona that said something on their FB about 100 squats. So it was the same workout that's been done for years.

Alert Jesse Ventura!!! There is a conspiracy in the Iowa Athletic Department.

I was calling for heads to roll at ND and still think they should, but this is a totally different situation. The ND situation was a blatant case of negligence that anyone with any common sense should have avoided. The workout that the Iowa players went through is the same one that has been used for years, we assume with no effects to this degree. I see no direct parallel between thur two, and to this point I see no evidence that warrants any disappointment in the Iowa staff or any reason to call for any heads to roll. Future revelations may or may not make such steps valid, but we are certainly not there yet.

I corrected my original post. Sorry for the mistake. I certainly don't think there's any conspiracy. To reiterate- I will wait to learn more before condemning and I find it suspect that it was the same workout. Perhaps it is the exact same workout and there's a logical and reasonable explanation. I can't wait to hear the contents of the PC.

Why make the original post at all? You have no more facts than anybody on this board but yet you find it "suspect" that this workout was abnormal from past winter workouts.

And I hope nobody is holding their breath for details of anything in this PC this afternoon.

So, since my original post what do we know? Ferentz wasn't there and should have been. Right now Iowa Football looks bad. I hate that.
