How does Wisconsin losing get us a double-bye?

MSU and Purdue both have us on the tie breaker regardless of OSU losing to Wisconsin. Am I missing something?

I've been wondering this as well. I'm clearly not understanding something with the tiebreakers.

If OSU wins the tiebreaker doesn't go to head to head first with a 4 way tie. Not 100% what the tie breaker is there but I know for sure it's not H2H first

If Ohio St wins it will be a 4 way tie with Ohio St, Iowa, MSU, & Purdue. The first tiebreaker is record between the tied teams against one another and would look like this:

MSU 3-0 (wins @Iowa, Ohio St, & Purdue)
Iowa 2-2 (wins against OSU, losses to MSU & Purdue)
Purdue 2-2 (wins against Iowa & OSU & losses to MSU & OSU)
Ohio St 1-4 (win against Purdue, losses to Iowa, Purdue & MSU)

So MSU gets the 3, Ohio St gets the 6. Iowa & Purdue still tied & go to the next tiebreaker which is record against the 1st place team. Both teams are 0-fer against Wisconsin. then it goes to the 2nd place team which is Maryland. Iowa is 1-0 & Purdue is 0-1. Iowa gets the 4 seed, Purdue 5.

If OSU and Purdue both win, here's how it will play out, and why:

3. Michigan State (12 - 6) Defeated Iowa, Purdue, and Ohio State based on round-robin record.

4. Iowa (12 - 6) With Purdue, defeated Ohio State and lost to Michigan State based on round-robin record. Defeated Purdue based on record against #2 teams.

5. Purdue (12 - 6) With Iowa, defeated Ohio State and lost to Michigan State based on round-robin record. Lost to Iowa based on record against #2 teams.

6. Ohio State (12 - 6) Lost to Michigan State, Iowa, and Purdue based on round-robin record.

Exactly right. The 4 way tie scenario benefits Iowa.

Nice job X.
We've wanted to be in a tie w/OSU since the sweep since it gives us two wins.
