When the other team's captains are so stressed out, amped up and full of hate that they don't even shake hands with your captains before the coin flip.
At that point you know it's a true rivalry game.
Remember several years ago when the Nebraska people started a narrative that basically stated that Iowa really wasn't a true rival? I guess that has changed, particularly when Iowa has kicked their butts 9 of the last 10 games.
