Connor McCaffrey seems to think we need another pg. we'll see. I think it'd be a mistake not to bring in someone like Hutchins.

It sounds to me like he considers himself a point guard if not 'the' point guard, but they would definitely benefit if they had a third pg.

my first thought is that you'd better have the coaches son, who plays pg, say we sure do need another pg, if you want to land a pg.

Aside from being true, it's honestly a genius play and I have no idea why they didn't do it earlier. I'd imagine most recruits actively stalk articles about teams and coaches they are interested in and will have friends that send them things like this. You can call it noise, but people are listening.

not to mention from other schools with the old negative recruiting angle.
 
You've been consistent no doubt TK. It sounds like in the next week or so we'll know if Iowa is pocketing that PG scholly til 2020 or not. I've only seen a 2 min or so highlight clip on those 2 2019 guys we've been rumored to be thinking about offering. They are both athletic. That Hutchins kid certainly has quicks and hops and some swagger to him. How has he played against good competition and what do coaches project him as being is the question on if he's worth the scholly or not. And maybe his reluctance to possibly redshirting or not too... Lets say CM plays well this year. Not set the world on fire well but pretty good. If that were to happen do we really need 3 of them? So I dunno it feels like it's a mute point because I lean towards thinking the next pg won't be comin till 2020 now... We'll know soon enough
