We were thinking about going to the bars in Coralville by all the hotels before the game. How crowded do they get? It's walking distance to the stadium isn't it?

they will be packed, as typical, but especially given the weather - people seeking solace from the heat. not sure which coralville bars you are speaking about...but in general, yes, within walking distance...

The motels I stay at are generally out by the interstate. Which motel you talking about? Which bars? Might be a helluva long walk in that heat, brah. Anyway, in terms of the level of crowding, I couldn't tell ya bince I prefer to tailgate.

the big brick building that opened as sports column is the vine last i knew. wig and pen next door. those two are easily walkable.
