OK. Bears are driving for the win in OT, 3rd down completion to Jefferies is coming up a couple yards short, 3 to 4 vikings have jefferies wrapped up and have pushed him back when play is over and Jared Allen comes running in and gives him a forearm shivver to the chest and head.
The ump right there on the play throws the flag for personal foul, the refs huddle and pick up the flag, saying it wasnt a late hit.
WTF is going on with all this reffing by committee, geezus the line judge was right there and called the penalty, it was late in real time and really looked late on the replay.
this flag would have moved the ball to about the vikings 30. Terrible flag pickup.
I keep seeing this crap more and more, it is a judgement call, the ref made a judgement and should not be overruled, and the official was right. May have cost the game right there although the bears screwed up enough by themselves,
