I was just over at the Jamba Juice in downtown Evanston consoling some Hawk fans on how I think Iowa could ever get to the level of beating a team like NU and here is my solution. Iowa should follow Rivals and Scout and find out what 2 or 3 star QB NU is recruiting and then give them a scholarship offer. Other than Jake Christensen, Iowa's coaching staff has been unable to find a QB capable of beating NU in the past 6 seasons, so maybe instead of trying to beat NU on the field, they should try to outrecruit them in the hopes of narrowing the talent gap.
