Horrible Defense

Ok, I don't expect too much out of this team this year considering the talent gap, and I am excited to see us actually run an offense. But I am struggling with how poor we played on defense. Way too many layups, not hustling back in transition, and way too slow getting out to cover the 3.

The freshman have a long way to go defensively. Brommer is just awkward. We are going to get killed on the boards this year, as well as playing poor defense. Our guards can pressure the ball well but that requires strong interior defense to protect the rim, we don't have that.

Have to agree. Very poor defense. Hopefully they get that straightened out soon. At least it's a positioning problem and not an effort one.
