Hoping this loss is like the last loss and motivates this team

The last loss to jNW lead to some great bball by the hawks. Depending on who they get in the first game of the dance hopefully they can get the wagons circled and play great.

Does anyone think there should be some changes in minutes, changes in focus on the offense, I think leave the defense as is except for quit leaving three point shooters alone.

And why are we leaving 3 point shooters alone, there were 3-4 times in the 2nd half today where J Oges and Gesell and others totally left there man for no reason and their guys sank 3 ptrs with no one close to them. I dont get that. Let Gabe and Woody patrol the lane

Good Lord....I'f I had a nickel for every time someone said that in reference to a bad Iowa loss, I'd be a rich man.

It will be like last season's loss to NW in the B1G tourney and lead to a blowout loss in the NCAA tourney.

I can't believe how often Oges drifts off his man for no reason and still gets credit for good defense. On one of the 3's they made, he was all the way under the hoop for no reason at all. For as good as our bigs are at contesting shots, what's the point?

I'm pretty sure you can't call an overtime loss a blowout loss. Maybe I'm wrong.

I will admit when I first called it a blowout loss I was thinking of our loss to Tennessee in football, not basketball. Then again it gets difficult keeping track of all our blowout losses in both sports.

^^ this one was the first of several in the 2nd half, it led to them making a bunch of 3s

I dont get it because there were 2 bigs or more in the lane and Josh was 20 feet from his guy

That's random. I've never made that connection before.
