Hopefully the hawks have played two of the better pass rushing teams

or else it is going to be really bad. STanley has no time, period, too much penetration against the running game.

The line was pretty good pass blocking last year but not this year.

Maybe they need to narrow the linemen splits. Who knows, maybe different techniques. But this is going to be bad if we cant hardly score.

It's not even the line as a whole, but the interior.

Linderbaum has been a success, but he's one guy.

Banwart can't stay healthy.

Neither Paulsen can seem to grasp the offense.

Ince is still young, as is Britt, who needs more snaps imo.

Kallenberger has potential, but is really a tackle and will move there next year.

Schott being hurt doesn't help.

It's a complete flip of 15-16, where we had a good interior but were poor at the T position.

Uh, have you watched Wisconsin? Even northwestern is aggressive on defense. Hell, Iowa/NW game might end up being 3-0

Wiscy's trick is just breaking you down over time. MSU actually did an okay job containing Taylor most of the games but by the 4th quarter their D had been out there probably 2/3 of the game.

Doesn’t matter anymore. The season is lost as far as meaningfulness and that’s not hyperbole.

Wisconsin would have to lose two more games including to us, and we would have to win out to be able to win the division.

It’s all over but the Piggly Wiggly Bowl presented by Tampax. We’re cooked.

Not saying we beat Wiscy without drastically improved O, but I also don't see them beating OSU.

The Buckeyes may actually be the most complete team in the country.

Now if you'll excuse me I need to wash my mouth out for saying something like that.

have to win out. wiscy plays osu, that will be a battle. hopefully we get help there. iowa has to figure out this offense. I love sargent, but he doesn't have it this year, young and goodson need 90% of the snaps. and its time to get somebody in at punt returner. you can't send ragaini in there again next week after this

At this point I wonder if we just give Britt one of the G positions. Banwart is rumored to have a torn ACL, and nobody else seems to want to step up.

I miss Jordan Walsh and Adam Gettis.

The biggest reason for our losses has mostly been the interior line's (save the center) ineptitude. Totally unblocked guys today at times. It was really bad.

Yeah I have watched them and they will be really good on D .

Maybe it doesnt matter bcuz our offense is just not very good.

This Iowa team will be very lucky to win two more games. They’ll hopefully win two out of Purdue/Nebraska/Illinois. Wisconsin and Minnesota will be blowouts and NW has our number.

Maybe if we play a couple of the bottom dwellers we can eek out a win or two and get our seven game quota.

Nock off the bullshit, our offense is a fuk up.

MN will not be a blowout, cut the bullshit. We've owned that team.

They're probably going to be 8-1 and in the top 25 coming into that game, and it's very possible that there will be more MN fans than Iowa fans in the stadium.

There are no Gopher fans. Have you seen TCF in the last 10 yrs. Not concerned about their 8 hollow wins.

they also use OL's as TE's in tight formations and their rb's just get behind them and wait for an OL to decapitate a safety coming up to support the run and then they just stroll into the end zone

You wait. If they're 8-1 and Iowa is something like 5-4, THOUSANDS of them will come down here on that redneck bandwagon looking to tear down the Kinnick goalposts and carry them across the border.
