It’s been slow on the forums recently. I came across a podcast that all’s about Iowa’s upcoming season and a little about the 2024 season. Playing USC on the road and the Bruins at home. The last time I saw the bruins at home Reggie was punting the ball. Should be fun!

I do agree that Iowa should have a good year coming up as the schedule is very favorable in 2023. If we keep everyone healthy and Brian doesn’t trip over himself I can easily see nine to eleven wins.

Yeah I listen to some of Condons stuff. He is about as anti BF as it gets. He puts out a whole lot of content. Most of it is annoying advertising which is what it is I suppose. He's pretty pessimistic on the hoops team next yr. He doesn't think they will go dancing at all. He thinks defensively they'll struggle even more then recently and that'll make it tough.

I agree that the football team should be very good if they stay healthy. The schedule is favorable, the D returns a good deal of firepower, and the offense will be better. Good? Maybe not. But better. Special teams look excellent. Vegas has a bad line. Should honestly be 9 before I would struggle on what to do.

Kind of agree that MBB looks dicey to make the dance. A lot of guys will have to really up there game. Fran has shown he can reload. We shall see.

The answer to your question is “His dad is head coach with a life time contract at his whim.

Like I said before if the OC shits down his leg this season then Barta would have no choice. Maybe he didn’t want to be that guy. Yeah, a good time to retire.

Let’s hope for the best. Excellent QB, good TE’s, MORE experienced offensive line, and very favorable schedule. Even blindfolded any OC should easily have eight wins.
