HN TV: Iowa Football Media Days - Coaches Press Conference

Am I the only one that feels like all that racial stuff and the letting go of Doyle was like 5 yrs ago already? Yet that was the first time we've heard anyone other then KF really speak on any of it. I'm sure the coaches will be glad when they can be asked about depth chart questions and clock management issues instead.

Yeah it seriously feels like a season has already passed since everything went down.

It's weird that's for sure. Time is a funny thing.

I was curious to hear from Braithewaite. Sounds like he's taking the 'heard no evil' stance from being around Doyle all these years. Which I'm fine with. He or anyone else piling on just furthers the talking about it. Yet it wouldn't change anything. I don't believe him when he says that. I mean he's been around the program for like 15 yrs too or so. Many of them as the #2 man under Doyle. So with him being that and black himself you're trying to tell me he never 1 heard anything directly and 2 had players pull him aside to say anything that may have happened? I find both tough to believe. But again him going down that road now that Doyle is long gone would gain nothing.

I'm going to have to remember Brian's response...that can be used for anything.

"Honey, did you clean the garage?"

"You know, I don't remember you asking me...but I want you to know I'm empathetic to your wanting it done, and you thinking you have asked repeatedly."
