I keep hearing that this is Iowa's highest BCS ranking.
Wasn't Iowa ranked #3 in the BCs going into the Orange Bowl>

According to wiki, Iowa was ranked #3 in the Coaches poll going into that game.....not sure on BCS.

Iowa was ranked #5 in the BCS prior to the Orange Bowl in 2002. I think they got up to #2 in the one of the human polls, but dropped back to #3 after the conference championship games.
