White looks a bit quicker and Uthoff looks like the player we thought he would be. No hesitation shooting at all. Of course this is the PtL, but they look good.....
Not necessarily this game, but I sometimes wonder if we might have missed the boat on Jeremy Morgan.....
Not certain he is big ten material, but he can play.....

Morgan and Alexander are both good. Be interesting to see who turns out better between Morgan and Jok.
To bad we wasted ships on Myer and Ingram instead of getting Morgan and Tuttle.
That 4 year stretch between the Barnes/McDermott class to the Jok/Morgan class has to be the most high school talent ever in Iowa at one time .
Also wonder if Fran would consider offering Alexander or if his problems have already burned that bridge.
Wonder if he ends up at UNI too

Utoff could be a number one option if he wanted to, some of the moves he makes at 6'9 you don't see anywhere but the nba.
That baseline behind the back dribble step back move looked like a Detlef Schremph flash back.
I don't know who's fault it is probably both he and Fran but it's ridiculous that he wasn't utilized more last year.
I think less options will be a good thing for Fran and Jarod.

I think he will be more utilized this year and will be very successful if he can learn to be more consistent. This could be said about ALL of the players.
Hindsight is tough... Ingram only left due to little no to chance of getting any PT. If you think/want to play being the 12th man sucks. Don't blame him a bit.
As far as the HS talent in Iowa the last few years I couldn't agree more. Iowa between basketball and football has really been over achieving as far as the amount of kids and not just players but dang good ones going on to be successful in college be it in state or not.

Less options? I feel like there may be more options. Losing production from marble/basabe, spreading it to guys ready to step up and be aggressive. That's a lot of minutes to spread around when you add in McCabe's....I wonder who will have McCabe's PT at the end of seemingly every game? I will be glad it will be somebody else. Probably uthoff.

We lose 3 and add one maybe two that will be in the rotation. But Utoff and Jok hardly played last year so it might not be whole lot different.
That alone might make us a better team this year.
