Don't make Woody shhhhsssss us again.
Correction, Woody still can't dunk without a running start or anyone guarding him. I also will be ecstatic for him to shhhhh me on that one all season.
I sure hope PJ figures it out. He looks to be a money shooter from 3, based on these highlights. This is a good mix that gives us a glimpse into the talent we have in 2014-2015. White even nails a 3. I know his jumper is there, he just needs to use it.
Edit: found this on PJ. A lot of duplication of the first link, but man, this kid has unstoppable written all over him. He also shows good court awareness and the ability and willingness to pass the ball. If he gets his mind right, this kid will be our go to with JU 2nd.
The PTL stats for MG, JO, and PJ have decent sample sizes of about 40 shots each from 3. MG shot 34%, JO 35%, and PJ 52%. PJ's sure had a great summer everywhere except on a moped.

I'm confident we're going to get some good PG play this year because of the competition between guys that all seem capable. Sapp's pattern has been to play very well in the PTL- perhaps because of the lesser competition. When he plays vs better players, he gets tentative, makes mistakes, and gets benched. We'll see if that pattern changes. IF it does, we've got a player. MG's pattern has been to play well early and fade late in the season. He has worked and gotten better at driving to the hole but that skill still has room for improvement. TD looks like he has the driving skill but without the D1 experience of the other 2. I think the big thing to watch for him is his A/T ratio. If TD can average in the 2/1 range, he'll get a lot of minutes. That is a question mark, but I think he has a good shot, particularly because he'll be playing vs good defenders in practice.Clemmons looked lights out in that game anyway. Those were some big time plays. He's got the skill set just needs the confidence and PT to do it. I think last year he was trying to play perfect because he knew his mins were going to be few and he had to defer to Marble Gesell White etc. I think the season snowballed away from him and coach had no reason to let him play himself back into getting confidence. This off season I think will rejuvinate him. The competition from Dickerson will just push him. I'm fired up Clemmons has stayed I think he'll play some big mins this year.
Thanks for the stats, uncle. It's a damn good thing mopeds aren't allowed on the court.
