I liked the way Uhl attacked the rim in the PTL, you could see the talent, speed and determination. Think he will be a very good replacement for Mel.....

With Ellingson we just might be very good at nailing the three, Josh, Peter and Brady. Lots of potential there. I really like Jok's improvement in the PTL. He had hang time. Would to up for a three, wait for the defender to fly by, hanging in the air and then nail a three. I do realize that it is the PTL, but even Fran gives credence to the experience gained by playing games in the PTL.....

I have been losing sleep for months in anticipation of the coming season.....

I am going to be optimistic, and hope that the lessons learned last year will bear fruit this year. Growing pains of a program coming back from the dead. Lets go Hawks!

Fran seemed pretty relaxed and content at the press conference. He didn't seem like a guy that was worried about Iowa being successful this year.

I'm pretty high on Uhl, I think he'll contribute. I don't see much need for Ellingson this year but certainly in the future. The X-factor will be how well Dickerson adapts to B1G play.
