Good friend has a son starting at D tackle for Miami-O. He started against Iowa, as well. Iowa looked at this young man and he did visit. His mom and dad are really proud!

It just occured to me that Manny Rugamba now has more conference championships than any of his former teammates at Iowa.

There are quite a few times injuries had Iowa down to true freshman and they could have used Manny Rugumba the last two years.

There’s a reason Rugumba landed on a MAC team, and it’s not because he was good. I don’t know that he would‘ve performed much better than the guys that did play.

I know people on the depth chart were passing him up, but they started dropping like flies. No he wasn't great, but I'm sure the coaching staff would have rather had the option of playing him.
