I am trying not to comment on most of this stuff because I'm frustrated with the season. As far as #9 is concerned, with the resources that are put into the program I don't think it's unrealistic to want 8-4 or 9-3 most years. Yes we will have a bad year or two because we are rebuilding, and hopefully once in awhile have an incredible season like we've experienced under KF. 7-5 feels like underachieving especially considering we play in the West.
This season we had a ton of players coming back from a 12-0 team. Did I expect 12-0 again? No way. I expected 9-3. But Wisconsin and Nebraska are better than I thought, so I would have been ok with 8-4. We are on the path to 6-6. That's not good, and losing recruits throws gas on the fire. People are going to complain. If you don't like it, message boards may not be the best thing for you right now.
