If you were a 3 or 4 star offensive player (QB or WR) being recruited by Iowa and you asked KF to describe his offensive philosophy and how you might fit into it, how would KF respond?
My contention is that it would not matter how KF responds, all anyone needs to see is Iowa's play over the last five Saturdays of 2012. If you were a player with potential, would you be willing to risk your future career playing for such a lackluster offense when there are so many better options available to you?
That is KF's dilemma, how can he possibly recruit players with ability when they see what they would be doing on Saturdays? It's KF's choice to play the way he does, but he makes his job just that much harder without the necessary talent to compete. When Iowa State perennially gets the best in-state players, that's when things will have to change.
