I'd agree with that. I like ESPN's product (especially regarding college football), but they have acquired too much influence. I would love to see NBC, CBS, and Fox all have something similar to ESPN.

The problem Fox Sports has is their top level organization is poorly organized. They need someone at the top who will make the decisions then stop micro managing. If they follow the BTN model, they may eventually have some success. If they follow the Fox Sports Regional model, they are screwed.

The one guarantee, in my mind, is a bigger paycheck for the different sports as the bidding wars heat up.

Fox will promote the BIG more than ESPN. Fox has vested interest in the BIG..

I gotta admit, BTN has really come a long way. When they first went on the air (cable) it was painful to watch.
Now I find myself tuning in daily.
Time will tell if there is room for another sports network. I think there is.
