I saw a few creative helmet designs whch made me wonder what could be done with Iowa's.

Based off of that first one you posted, how about a Black Chrome helmet with a larger Gold Chrome Tiger Hawk, done in that outline style, tilted slightly forward and maybe connected around the back of the helmet, like the Seahawks logo is on theirs or almost meeting, with the head feathers dividing the two at the back.

Not for good, just as part a special uniform...paired with a shiny gold jersey with black numbers only to match the Tiger Hawk and black pants to match the helmet with a thinner gold stripe down the sides of the legs.

OR...the state of Iowa on a helmet would be cool too.

I once played on a softball team that had black, yellow gold, white and gray cammo shorts...I wonder how that would look as a jersey pattern with your helmet and matte black pants!?!?

I hope to hell we don't go back to the throwbacks again...it was bad enough losing to ISU, but to do it wearing those hideous things, well...it made it really difficult to watch that offense, and that offense was difficult to watch anyway.

I would love to see a yellow helment with a black power Hawk,that would look awesome
