Heat win by 20....

There is no conspiracy. There is only Boston winning by 7 and moving on to the finals to be beaten in 5 games by OKC. At least, that's what my e-mail from Commissioner Stern said.

Ah yes. Heat fan thumping his little hairless chest.
Just remember the words of my old friend Stinky Friar: "early ripe, early rotten".

No way queen james scores 30 in the second half.

Boston by 2 to win it.

Rondo is a beast. Only PG in the league I'd take over him right now is Chris Paul.
I know he's hurt, but would you take a healthy Derek Rose over Rondo? I think both work on certain teams and may not work on others, but Rose works well with the Bulls. Rondo works well on the Celtics. Maybe it's a draw. :)

It will be interesting how Rose's injury affects him. He needs to continue to improve his shooting at this point.

No I wouldn't. It is my opinion that it is VERY difficult to win a championship with a score first PG. I'm a fan of traditional PG's in the mold of Rondo, Paul, and Nash. I think Paul is the best in the league because he also is a very good defender. Rose is average, Rondo's decent and Nash is.....old. I'd take Rondo, Paul, Williams, and Westbrook off the top of my head over Rose. Rose is also a volume scorer which I'm not a fan of.

Fair enough. I love watching Rose play and he will defer when teams play him the right way (double him). He's only 23 and this injury may cause some changes in his game.

I agree on Paul for sure and Nash is still doing it as old as he is. If Nash were to end up on the Heat next year, that would be fun to watch. Westbrook is a beast and the light may be coming on (as far as setting up teammates). He's only 23. Williams has flashes, but he needs the right team and it will be interesting to see where he goes this offseason. If he goes to Dallas, that might be fun. Rondo is on the right team now and he's definitely fun to watch as well. He's been awesome in the playoffs, but still seems like a knucklehead once in a while (maybe a bit picky there).

Finally, don't forget Ricky Rubio! :)

Funny you say that. I thought about saying Rubio. In 1-2 years I believe I will say Rubio. I just thought it was a bit early for that since he's only got 1/2 season under his belt in the NBA.

Yeah, I know. I am a T-Wolves fan. He's fun to watch, but has a ways to go to catch the others. It was a nice glimmer of hope this year to see him play.

Pro basketball...yawn.

Some so-called pro basketball experts continue to wonder how San Antonio, the only pro basketball team to my knowledge that plays as a team, is successful when most pro basketball teams play like Allen Iverson's Philadelphia 76ers team.

For example, one alleged expert, Michael Wilbon, exclaimed, "How can San Antonio be good? They don't have any superstars." Jeeze, what an idjut. I don't think I'll be accepting his sports advice any time soon.

T-E-A-M-W-O-R-K.

Baseball is here. Come on football.

And yet they lost to a team that runs more isolations and passes less than almost any other team in the league. What's your point?

Most talent on any one team. Will give, presumably, Miami a good run for the title.

Will soon lose a lot to free agency.. Better get their title now.
Unless they want to play as a team.
