Honest questions (not trying to beat Lick up)....

Was Todd Barta's 3rd choice in 2007? Did Pearl and then Stallings turn Iowa down?

Is that how the dominoes fell?

that's how I understood it, but it was all rumors to me if I remember.

I think Barta had a contract ready for Stallings and Stallings backed out. Can't remember if Lick was #3 or not.

Wasn't Dana Altman a hot name back then? It's amazing what a few yrs difference

The Arkansas thing is a big negative and Creighton hasn't been nearly as good recently.

I'm not saying he's the one and certainly someone will jump on the fact that he is at a mid major school.....but other than the hiccup at Arkansas he's been steady
as a rock ( 16 yrs @ Creighton) a significant winner and definitely understands
the challenges of small state recruiting...in his 16th year at Creighton with a 309-160 record, which equates to an average of nearly 21 wins per season over the past 15 years. Actually my comment was how perceptions change.

I live in Omaha. I can assure you, Dana Altman is not going anywhere right now. He's a good man, Creighton is a great school and a very good fit for Dana.
