And even though the wheels were now starting to come off the Smokey Joe Salem regime up in Minneapolis, still faux sports journalist Sid Hartman was having himself a field day calling us farmers (a poke that, make no mistake, was aimed right at a couple of significant recruits we had taken out of the Twin Cities area). But Hayden, in a move that would melt down Minnesota twitter twits today, showed up to the post-game press conference in bib overalls and a huge cowboy hat. But it was a good ol' fashioned goal–line stand in the dome that made the win possible. And Hayden showed that he understood how important it was we win the border wars in the Big 10.

Perhaps once we get to the Top Ten, I will. But just as many of these, at this point, do NOT have any highlight links.
Minnesota, up in the dome, was always a challenge for Hayden. Considering they were not usually anything close to Rose Bowl-bound, Hayden's record up in Minneapolis was only 5-5 - and three of those losses really put a sting to the season.
