Hayden Fry's pass patterns

Ok, I have been watching some old highlight videos. Cant wait for hawk football. But I again saw what is and was so great about Hayden and Bill Snyder's passing game. They would send receivers deep and they would also have receivers turn Dbacks and then really come back 10 yards to the ball. Almost impossible to stop for a defense. just great work on the part of the Off line blocking, QBs waiting for whatever broke open. It was amazing during Chuck Long's tenure how many times he would throw a ball to a spot and a receiver would work back to the ball while a Dback/linebacker thought he had a pick.

I could never realize why the KF hawks passing game did not have more of this since KF was there for about 8 years.

Go hawks, beat NIU, I will be traveling and missing the game but heading to see some of our grandkids. Never used to miss a game but things change.

OK I have stated the obvious many times before. Do you really believe KF has a grasp of ANY passing game? Do you think he was studying Bill Snyder's passing schemes while he was busy coaching the offensive line? Because if he was he is truly an awful student.

He has put very few skill players in NFL. He knows a lot about the line of scrimmage but little else offensively. Unfortunately, and he has admitted this, he interferes too much with the offensive game planning. I will be curious to see if that changes in Brian's second year.

Who knows. Maybe his good friend Bill had a frank conversation with him during their trip out east this summer. We can hope.

But for any coach to put up with the Greg Davis passing schemes for FIVE years has to be totally incompetent in that area. OR he had an ulterior motive. Which do you think it is?
