Hawks vs Rudock in B10 Champ game?

It could happen.

I get the feeling if it does, I will be very disappointed in how Iowa fans treat Rudock.

Rudock quit Kirk ... then yaps how he loves the competition at Michigan

Hope this unfolds as beating Rudock / Harbaugh would be special

on the other hand .. Kirk knows Rudock better than Harbaugh

Rudock quit ... hope Jewell and company get to pound his *** into the turn at Indy

If it were in IC, I could see that happening. But since it's at a neutral site, UM would be just as well represented as UI. There may be some brief booing at the outset, but I think it would die down pretty quickly and everyone would just enjoy the game.

At least that is my hope.

This is from MedinaBuckeye1 on the Scout.com College Football News Forum. Perfectly accurate. Michigan's job is to win out including a victory over OSU in Ann Arbor. OSU needs to beat Michigan State in Columbus. That puts Michigan and Rudock in the CCG vs Iowa.

Update for the 11/7 games:

West:

  • 5-0/9-0 Iowa - The Hawkeyes win the division if they win out (vMN, vPU, @UNL) or if they lose only one game. If they lose twice they need Wisconsin to lose a game as well. If they lose out . . . well that would be really bad but they still could win the division with some help.
  • 5-1/8-2 Wisconsin - The Badgers can only keep winning and hoping Iowa loses . . . twice.
  • 3-2/7-2 Northwestern - The Wildcats need to win out and for Iowa to lose out. A three-way tie with Iowa and Wisconsin at 6-2 does not help the Wildcats because Iowa would have H2H on both.
  • 2-3/5-4 Illinois - The Illini are still mathematically capable of tying for the title but they can't get to Indianapolis.
  • The other three teams in the division have four losses each so they are eliminated.

East:

  • 5-0/9-0 Ohio State - If the Buckeyes win out or lose only to Illinois, they will go to Indianapolis as outright champs. If the Buckeyes lose to either MSU or M things get a lot more complicated.
  • 4-1/8-1 Michigan State - The Spartans' loss to Nebraska has less impact on the B1G-E race than you might think. The Spartans still control their own destiny. If they win out (v UMD, @ tOSU, v PSU) they will go to Indianapolis because they would be no worse than tied with the M/tOSU winner and they would own the H2H tiebreaker. A loss to Ohio State would probably eliminate the Spartans while a loss to either Maryland or Penn State would leave them needing a LOT of help.
  • 4-1/7-2 Michigan - The problem for the Wolverines is that they have a H2H loss to the Spartans. However, the Spartans' loss to Nebraska helped the Wolverines a lot. If the Wolverines win the next two weeks (@ IU, @ PSU) and the Buckeyes beat MSU then The Game will be for a trip to Indianapolis. If Michigan loses another game then they will need a LOT of help.
  • 4-2/7-3 Penn State - The problem for the Nittany Lions is that they have a H2H loss to the Buckeyes and trail the Buckeyes by two games in the loss column. If the Lions won out that would give both the Spartans and Wolverines a second loss and it would give the Lions H2H over them. However, they would still need the Buckeyes to lose at least twice.
  • The other three teams in the division have five losses each so they are eliminated.

LOL ... who saw this coming in June?

  • 5-1/8-2 Wisconsin - The Badgers can only keep winning and hoping Iowa loses . . . twice.

Uhhh, do you want them to cheer? Hold up signs saying, "Please come back to us we miss you"? Sheesh, American men have turned into little Hillarys.

Alex: Little Hillarys?

more like little Ben Carson's based on the last few weeks of a man who complains about everything and then when busted on lies that check out acts like a 2nd grader who just had their ice cream taken from them

Racist

I'm not sure who the best matchup is for the Hawks.

I would say definitely not OSU because they have so much experience on the roster in pressure games after last year and Urban isn't a coach I want to face.

So MSU or Michigan?? Pretty even teams. Mich has probably better D. MSU has better QB.
Not even sure who I'd pick if I had a choice.

I would say we would do better vs either Mich school....but if we are 12-0, then to be the best we need to beat the be(a)st...so would rather play a 12-0 OSU.

I could see JR getting an applause in Indy by Hawk fans...his departure eliminated any element of debate or uneasiness in the Hawk lockerroom...and he is a former Hawk.
