Hawks play well for only about 12 minutes and barely lose

Most teams would have lost by 20 today playing as bad as Iowa did and with your opponent shooting 50+% until the last few minutes of the game.

How Iowa can hang in there sometimes surprises me but why cant the coaches get a game plan and get this guys pumped to play a full 40 minutes.

Is it the coaches, is it this set of players, do the players get tight because of coach Fran??

You tell me.

I have been think this for a while. For all the talk of too many close losses, what's lost is how this team can get to it even being a close game when they have such poor stretches.

That said, you have to win a few as well, and not be so inconsistent on offense for such long stretches. We weren't having long scoring droughts in December and January, and that was the difference.

All losses are by about a total of 40 points, but it doesn't make it suck any less, and might actually make it worse.

But we aren't winning these games!! Don't give me this crap about close losses. This team doesn't have what it takes to win. "Oh if we just did this, or that didn't happen, or so and so shot better" those excuses just get old. We've only been doing a few things well each game for a while now. If they were simple fixes they would have been fixed by now. This team has too many issues to right the ship.
