Iowa will be the best team at VT has played this season, I like Iowa's chances, the quickness of VT could be an issue if Iowa can't protect the hoop and Woodbury gets early fouls...I know Woodbury getting early fouls is like Willie Guy running into the pile...that said, Olaseni and Basabe have to play big for Iowa as well.

The good thing is that Iowa just played a team that is similar physically, but not a physical team overall. Iowa didn't pass the first test of the season with flying colors, but I like their chances the second time around this season.

They've also given up 80 to VMI, 87 to UNCG and 76 to Appalachian State. Granted they outscored these teams but that's a lot of points to give up to this caliber of teams.

Agreed. I remember when Purdue came to town; I remember the Wisconsin games of last season. I think it's fair to say that I have reasonable expectations regarding this team, but I also know that--when the machine gets rolling--I believe we can beat anyone.

Would I bet on this game? No.

But I will be a jumping fool if we win.
