Hawks #4

I'm really tempted to get on and laugh at the OSU fan complaining about Iowa's schedule.

"Iowa's schedule is weak."
(Presented with facts of SOS)
"I meant Iowa doesn't have playmakers."
(Presented with facts that Iowa has most explosive plays)
"Yeah, we'll wait til we play you in title game."

What an idiot.

I don't believe that Iowa is the 4th best team in the country but I do think this is a just placement right now. With that said teams like OSU,MSU will have SOS boosters that Iowa won't during regular season. But if Iowa can take care of business, the equalizer is the B10 champ game. If both teams are unbeaten the winner will play for it all.

That's where I'm at. If they want to drop us after we play the "weak" part of the schedule that's fine but as of right now our schedule has been tougher than almost all the teams in front of it and we have passed every single test. Having us up that high at this point of the season is completely justifiable.

Shocked to see only one SEC team on the list (although Bama gets a mention). Doesn't this guy watch ESecPN?

On a different note: hypothetical question... If Iowa were to really smoke the competition going forward, does that somewhat negate the talk of the SOS?

I would say it shouldn't, but do to the narrative the national media puts on scoring lots of points it should, but because it is Iowa, it won't.
