Hawks #15 in AP Poll



Amazing, beat a top 5 team by 31 and only move up 3 spots in the AP and 2 in the coaches poll and MSU is still ahead of Iowa in the coaches. Nebraska beats the #6 team by 14 and moves up 5 spots in the AP and 4 in the coaches.
 


highest ranked 2 loss team. no complaints about Iowa. Nebby moving up is a little sad. Everyone just wants them to be the Nebby of Old.

Whats wrong with nebraska moving up, they played a great game with there backup qb in the 2nd half.

And as far as iowa goes. You guys are seriously underranked.

I just don't think Nebraska beating Mizzou as that big of a feat. The Big 12 is weak this year. Texas isn't Texas and OU isn't that good either. I'm just saying I don't think they should have moved up as far as they did, but my vote doesn't really count.

Let me rephrase that. Us beating Missouri is a huge deal to us. For a trophy we have been passing around for 80+ years. For a team who has had our number quite a few times the last 10 years. For the last time we will play them, it was a big deal in nebraska. Also beating a top 10 team for the 1st time in a long time. The big 12 is not as strong as the big 10 is this year thats for sure. But we still have a few teams in the top 25 so that helps stats.

I will say again that Iowa is a very good team this year who has had some bad luck a couple of times. You owned MSU yesterday. You should be getting more respect then you are getting but right now play out and you will get the respect you want. It might not be a Rose Bowl but any BCS game is nothing to be ashamed about.
 


I don't like Nebraska..at all...and any team that lets one player rush for over 300 yards is not a good team, period, and shouldn't be in the top 15. That being said, I think Nebraska is getting a pretty fair shake. They have one loss, albeit a bad one to a bad team, but it is still only one loss. They have answered the call two weeks in a row. It pains me more than anything to say it, but they are as much of a top 10 team right now as Alabama with 1 loss is. Now I'm going to go wash the nasty taste out of my mouth.

So we shoudnt try to win. He is our running back, he is there to run. If missouri couldnt stop him then whats the big deal. Ben Cotton got some runs in, as well as Helu got some passes in. I mean good lord, is this what your saying. You make it sound like Nebraska was running up the score. This is your board so im not going to discuss this further. But im sorry you dont like nebraska but even though i may not be a fan of iowa football i respect the program. I would hope to get the same in return.

Huh?? I was saying Mizzou gave up 300 yards to one guy, so they aren't a top 15 team. I didn't say Neb shouldn't have ran him?!? Where did you even get that? I was actually giving Neb credit and saying they are just as worthy of being in the top 10 as Alabama is. Re-read my post man...

Oh sorry i thought you were saying Nebby shouldnt of ran for 307 yards. My bad. Just misread what you were saying. I sorry.:D
