Hawkeyes run to 3rd Final Four starts here Thread

Alicia Guyton has got to improve her shooting percentage and eliminate turnovers. She was 0 for X today and had 2 TO's. Iowa was physically outplayed and did not get any calls that resulted in free throws when on offense. One thing all the players need to work on is how to finish at the basket.

She also needs to stay in her lane a bit. She's confident, quick and can shoot ok but is also small and almost always over drives into the forest and gets stuck every possession. Much like Harding does and Gessell used to do.
If her IQ is as big as her moxie she'll figure it out. If she's all talent and low IQ, she'll continue to be a liability.

So unable to watch the game live so just watched the tape not knowing the outcome. Gave up after the first quarter.
Wow. I’m a Jan fan but she was clueless that first quarter. She has a ton of room for improvement. No timeout? No O’Grady to counter their size? Hannah was very passive and probably drilled into her not to get into foul trouble. More reason to insert O’Grady. Three straight turnovers trying to enter to Heiden?
Oh well. We were only going as far as Lucy was taking us and she was way off in that opening quarter.
We probably overachieved this year to be honest.
A tough task to follow up Caitlin’s career. Nice season overall with the upset of JuJu the highlight of course.
Just a tough way to go out.

And there is no excuse if they don’t have Hannah work ONLY on a 8-10 foot jump shot this summer. No excuse by now. Her offense would take off and so would our half court offense. Teams sag off her incredibly.
