man, those TX kids sure look like college players. they just don't play like typical HS kids. I've said it before about this kid that I really like his video except he needs a stronger arm. he makes up for lack of zip with a really quick release.

Your interview really sounds like he's enamored with Iowa and I would say Iowa "appears" to be solidly in there. He could get the same treatment somewhere, but based on his comments, Iowa should be in it.

Wiltfong / 247 put in a prediction today for Iowa on this 2020 candidate. Long ways off but maybe he'll be an early entry to the class.

yeah, this would be a good get, in my opinion. he's got the physical tools but he also appears to have "it" a qb needs to make decisions. needs to get stronger.
 
I just think we have to land a guy named "Deuce" if we can. Damn...if that won't spark some horrible anecdotes I don't know what will. On an errant throw, "the duece is wild". I'm just thinking we may get tired of that after say, 100 time hearing it. Although I'm sure Beth Mowins will have a better take. "Looks like he took a deuce on that play".
