This looks like a great hire! She is from Iowa and should be able to recruit well in-state. She has also been a very successful head coach with 5 conference championships, and 7 NCAA regional appearances at UCF. Her experience building Texas Tech into a top 25 team is good too.

There are always going to be kids that want to get away from the nest. But we need to at least be in the running for most of the best in-state players. That two of B10 champ Minnesota's best players are native Iowans is revolting. I wonder if the Gopher fans tone down their "Who Hates Iowa" chant while Fiser is striking out batters or Lindaman is knocking in runs?
