Manny Rugamba appreciates everything that Desmond King did for him and the Hawkeye program. But instead of following in his mentor's footsteps, Rugamba is looking to blaze his own trail:

I like his attitude and approach. He could be the next 2 way player, if the Hawks don't get someone at WR to step up. Wasn't he a pretty good WR in high school? It sure appears he can catch the ball, which is, interestingly and frustratingly, something that is in low supply for Iowa's WRs right now.

He was a really good HS WR. Some colleges viewed him at that spot, especially early on in his career.
