Saying she was “blindsided and shocked” over being suspended, Gophers women’s basketball junior guard Destiny Pitts announced on Twitter that she intends to enter the transfer portal to continue her career elsewhere.

Pitts was an All-Big Ten choice by the media as a sophomore last season and was the Gophers’ leading scorer (16.3 ppg) this year. She was suspended by coach Lindsay Whalen for “conduct unbecoming a member of the team” in a move announced Sunday before the Gophers’ 74-71 loss at Illinois.
 
There's a full slate of games as the Big Ten starts to sort out the contenders. MSU with a 2 point lead over tOSU early in the 3rd. Northwestern has jumped out to an 11-2 lead over Indiana, and Rutgers trails Penn State 6-5 in a cold shooting game (both teams in the 20% area).

Iowa recruited her pretty hard before she chose the Gophers, unless I recall incorrectly.
 
MSU opens up an 8 point lead on tOSU, Indiana back within 6, Rutgers up 4 both teams at 20% shooting still.
