Looking at Iowa's 25 bowls I have to take two out personally the 2 Rose Bowls in the 50's.. My first bowl game was the 82 Rose Bowl I was 12 and my family attended what an event even though Iowa played poorly still an amazing experience that made me a Iowa fan from that point on.

Two bowls stick out for me as significant the 82 Rose that brought Iowa back into the college football world and last years Orange Bowl win. The Hawkeyes two biggest bowl games in history. What is your choice?

My pick is the licking we put on Florida in the Outback Bowl in 04'. The first back to back ten win seasons in Iowa history, and solidified our status as a legit Big Ten contender. Even though Florida wasn't a powerhouse team that year it was a big statement and expectation builder for Iowa football.

That was a great bowl for sure!!! I can see that as a contender.

Have been to 5 bowls, starting w/ '82 Peach Bowl and 86 Rose Bowl as U of Iowa student... but best $$ we ever spent was '04 Outback! Great win, perfect weather all 4 days, 2 days of Clearwater Beach - Take that every time!

My opinion is tainted since I've only been aware of my surroundings and able to create memories since 1990.
