Was in a resturant over the weekend and started a conversation with a guy that had on a hawk hat. He told me he was recent grad. We started discussing the boards and he told me he refuses to even read them anymore because the people who post are absolutely the worst fans on the planet. He loved the football board but he said the "old ladies that sit on the porch and judge the neighbors with having a clue" drove him away for good. I would have to agree. I have been on this board for years and the old board was much better. Its been three weeks and the things that have happened are predictable. Recruits leave when a new coach comes in either on their own or by the coach telling them they might not fit into the new system. Have you thought about Fran bringing in a group of greyhounds that can get up and down the floor? I could see a couple new faces being recruited and maybe a couple JC's from a couple of Iowa JC"S. If you look at the rosters of Southeastern and Indian Hills you will see a total of 10 players from the northeast. These two schools are solid and may have some players that Fran is looking at in the short term. Coaches transition using JC players especially when they are coming in late. Take a breath, I think the silence from Fran maybe a good sign. He has no obligation to make you happy on this board. How about you focus on some positives? Take up knitting and go bug Freddy, it will serve you much better.

I hear what you're saying, but it's awfully easy to say that the football fans are better fans than the basketball fans when the football team is consistently good, wins BCS games, etc. etc. etc.
