Sorry I didn't put this together earlier, but here is a rundown of games from this week:
DE David Kenney, Pike (Indianapolis) vs. Perry Meridian (IN)--Perry Meridian fought a rain storm to upset Pike 18-14.
WR Derrick Willies, Rock Island (IL) vs. Galesburg (IL)--Willies had 4 catches for 66 yards in the 28-16 win.
DB Delano Hill, Cass Tech (Detroit) at Mumford (Detroit)--Cass Tech rolled 49-0.
OL Colin Goebel, Naperville (IL) North vs. Aurora (IL) West--In a highly unusual final score, Naperville North took the victory, 38-2.
DT Nathan Bazata, Howells (NE) vs. Guardian Angels (West Point, NE)--Bazata's squad continues to prove that they are the top 8-man team in Nebraska. They won 36-0 to improve to 6-0. They've outscored their opponents 314-92 in those 6 games.
DT Brant Gressel, Centerville (Dayton, OH) vs. Northmont (Clayton, OH)--Centerville took the 13-0 win.
LB John Kenny, Carmel (IN) at North Vigo (Terre Haute, IN)--Carmel stayed undefeated with a 28-0 win. This sets up a monster matchup next week between the top 2 teams in Indiana, Carmel and Ben Davis (Indianapolis). Ben Davis, who is led by former Iowa recruit and current Hoosier commit Antonio Allen, won tonight 75-0.
QB Nic Shimonek, Mildred (Corsicana, TX) vs. Rio Vista (TX)--Mildred improve to 4-1 with a 56-7 homecoming victory.
DB Malik Rucker, Robbinsdale Cooper (MN) at St Francis (MN)--Cooper took the win 34-22. Malik Rucker had a 71-yard pick-6.
OL Sean Welsh, Springboro (OH) at Fairborn (OH)--Springboro rolled to a 61-7 victory.
ATH Trevon Young, Lincoln (Des Moines) vs. Valley (WDM)--Young had 2 catches for 82 yards, including a 47-yard TD catch, but Lincoln fell to Valley 37-7.
DB Solomon Warfield, St Edwards (Lakewood, OH) at Cardinal Mooney (Youngstown, OH)--St Edwards, arguably the top team in the midwest, improved to 7-0 with the 54-14 win over a traditional high school football super-power.
TE Jon Wisnieski, Dowling Catholic (WDM) vs. Ottumwa--Wisnieski had 2 catches for 22 yards, including a 4-yard TD in the 41-7 win for the Maroons.
ATH Matthew VandeBerg, Brandon Valley (SD) vs. Aberdeen (SD) Catholic--Brandon Valley took a dominating 49-0 victory.
