Hawkeye Express Tailgating

Taking the family to the game tomorrow and the kids are wanting to take the Hawkeye Express. I would like to tailgate for an hour or two before hopping the train and was curious if anyone knew if there was any tailgating going on or allowed in the parking area for the train? Been to many games, but have never taken the train.
 


I see people tailgating in that lot every time we drive by. Looks like they have a pretty good time. Tents up, BBQ's out, coolers open.

I wouldn't think you should have a problem.
 


Thanks..that would probably work perfect if true! Dad gets his couple of hours of tailgating and kids get to ride the train!

Well if your going tomorrow I would allow for more than one or two hours of tailgating before hopping on the train. :D:p:):):):p:D
 


I volunteer on the train and there's ALWAYS people tailgating when I get there, so it should be no problem for you. First run is at 0800, then about every 30 min or so after that.

The Hawkeye Express Tailgate is lots of fun!

My family enjoys taking the train as well.

Usually, we will hear one or two chants of "Gimme an I!...
